Short CV

Tobias started his studies in Mathematics with a minor in economics at TU Munich in October 2015. After a semester abroad at the University of Helsinki, Tobias completed his bachelor’s degree with a thesis on integrality of polyhedra in the field of discrete optimization in 2019. After that, he started his master’s degree in Mathematical Finance and Actuarial Science at TU Munich with another semester abroad at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. In 2024, Tobias completed his degree with a thesis on portfolio optimization under generalized GARCH models in cooperation with the University of Western Ontario. During his studies Tobias gained practical experience through internships at Bayerische Landesbank and Tecta Invest and as a working student at Deloitte Consulting. In April 2024, Tobias started his PhD at the Chair of Financial Mathematics.
