Andrei started his bachelor’s degree in Mathematics with a minor in Economics at the University of Würzburg in October 2014. Subsequently, in October 2017, he switched to the consecutive master’s program in Mathematics at the University of Munich (LMU). There he completed his studies with the master's thesis "The Finite Element Method for Solving Elliptic Partial Differential Equations: Theory and Implementation". During his studies, Andrei completed two internships in asset management at ALTE LEIPZIGER insurance and MEAG (A Munich Re Company). Since May 2022, Andrei has been doing his PhD in cooperation with Willis Towers Watson (WTW) on ”Neural Networks and Quantitative Risk Management” at the department of Financial Mathematics.
